Our Ever Evolving Team…

  • Francesca Greetham

    LEAD DEVELOPER

"I am the lead developer for the Bioverse project. My role is to oversee all technical elements of the build; bringing all the components together and ensuring the programme actually works. I also aid other members of the team if any development issues arise and help to troubleshoot problems.

With a passion for consumer engagement I have enjoyed creating this virtual hub that can facilitate player interaction for the collective good. I am very interested in the scalability of the Bioverse and believe user data can be harnessed to create a more accountable and meaningful online space, so I want to make sure our prototype displays the potential of this wider project.

Areas I worked on within the Bioverse Project:

Player Movement - Animations - Setting up interactive elements in the scene: videos, mirror, the npc - waving and walking - Version control - Deploying the project

Please feel free to check out my other projects below:"

  • Freyja Sewell

    LEAD DESIGNER

“I have synthetized the core concepts and identity of the Bioverse. I have many teachers to thank. I designed and modeled the levels, avatars and content.

A proud Jack-Of-All-Trades, I have spent that last decade working on a wide variety of interdisciplinary projects, both as an independent creative and team employee/leader. I explore my unique Biophilic sci-fi style across a world of design, including VR/AR, art performance, interior design, costume and UX+I. I have proactively built up a connection to worlds that others may see as separate, working to unite spirituality with science, ancient natural wisdom with cutting edge technology and individual creativity with collective dreaming. I believe we can co-create a social impact network together, that can change our (human and non-human) future for the better.

I am a daily meditator, sci fi obsessive and proud plant mother. I work with activists, scientists, protestors, healing circles and artists, and endeavor to learn directly from nature in many ways.

    TECHNICAL ARTIST

Hi! I worked in the Bioverse project as a Technical Artist. My job was to be the bridge between the art and programming side of things and make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. Mesh optimisation, texture creation and visual processing were a few of my main tasks.

  • Ollie Welch

    SOUND DESIGNER

Hi! I'm Ollie, sound designer and audio integration specialist for the Bioverse Project. My role within the team has been to plan, manage, record, produce and integrate/code (C#) all audio within our Bioverse universe. Our ambition for the Bioverse has always been to approach audio organically; therefore, recording the outdoors and various locations whilst making these recordings ready for our project in post-production (Izotope RX) has been a big part of what I do.

We've used many sounds within the experience, everything from wind, water, and bird songs to modular synthesis sound design.

The message behind the Bioverse holds massive significance for our future, and we wanted to create an inviting space that teaches our players this. So I've always worked towards making audio that works alongside this motive. Our team is constantly on their toes, experimenting with new ideas in the project, so I always need to be on my toes regarding audio too!

Creative forward thinking is always our approach, and it's an exciting project to be a part of!

See more details about the audio on this project and others I've worked on at my website below!
